Hello!
Ever since I joined the workshop, for the first time after 5 or 6 years, I no longer feel excruciating pain in my entire back and should when I play the violin. I can now actually play the entire, very demanding, 15-minute composition and not feel tired afterwards. I no longer suffer from blockages especially in my left shoulder or forearm (left and right hands), sometimes my lower back hurts a little, but not all the time. However, I have noticed that when I sit or lie down, it is difficult to stay in one position for a long time, especially when I lie on my side, because I keep thinking about the fact that I am straining my hip and thigh muscles too much which bothers me. In short, I am much more aware of the way my body functions.
When I wake up, I don’t have a broken body and rigid shoulders anymore. It one of the nastiest problems I suffered from for years. I can sleep on my left side without pain, which was not an option for a long time (because of my left shoulder). Even when I’m carrying shopping bags or a violin on my shoulders, it’s not as much of a problem as it used to be. Except for the last two days, when the shoulder was obviously more tense during the exercises (I think), for the first time since the beginning of the workshop, my shoulder muscles were contracted again. To sum up my feelings so far – since around 2016 constant pains began in the shoulders, arms, shoulder blades, neck, collarbone, entire back, often even in the hips, I didn’t have much hope (and I didn’t believe in therapy, not even in September) that can improve my condition. In just one week – since starting the exercises – I can do things about 85% of the time without pain.
With the exception of the cramping of the last two days, which is not excessive, I definitely feel better and better after each workout.
