Based on my experience, a habit is an activity we perform regularly and frequently enough that it becomes automatic, meaning we do it without thinking too much about it.

We could say that the quality of our life in the long run depends on the quality of our habits, as they can make up nearly half of our daily routine. Bad habits or vices are something we usually want to change, but this is a complex process that requires time, patience, energy, and, of course, a certain level of knowledge and appropriate “tools.”

The AEQ method is an approach that helps us understand habits and offers tools (exercises and explanations) to facilitate the pursuit of goals and serves as a “toolkit” for shaping new habits or changing old ones.

The AEQ program is meaningfully structured in such a way that it consistently (over the course of a month) and without major interruptions “pushes” participants to, through regular exercise and listening to explanations (AEQ perspectives on various life situations), search for potential reasons (explanations) for their behaviors, repeated patterns, or reactions, and enables them to find concrete solutions for everyday life.

Based on my experience, the impact of AEQ exercises and explanations on individuals is immediate, but long-term changes can only occur through continued active “work on oneself” even after the program ends.

New habits need to be consciously repeated and reinforced until they become automatic, a part of our personality.
