I feel that participating in your breathing program has helped me take one step closer toward myself. Even though I am used to not listening to my body I am now more aware of how deeply my face muscles, neck muscles, back muscles, and shoulder muscles are contracted. I am aware of how much burden I have been carrying on my shoulders. Slowly but surely my awareness is changing. I love doing the exercises because they need to be done slowly with focusing on the body. It took me a long time to learn how to sense which muscles are shortening and which ones are lengthening.
I am aware that if I want to do a move too quickly, I get nervous and that is when the subconscious comes up. I stop, calm down and think how to do the movement differently. Consequently, I am more aware of my movement and what I am doing in the moment which makes me less afraid. I can see that I am slowly getting my own sensations and feeling back with AEQ exercises. My movement is softer, I am more relaxed and calmer. It feels easier to make decisions.
