I have been closely following your YouTube channel for over a year now, through which I have gained a basic understanding of the method.
The program for regulating the relationship with parents was my second AEQ program. Eight months prior, I participated in the emotional maturity development program.
Between the two programs, I attended six individual sessions with a level 4 AEQ teacher.
At the beginning of this program, I felt more resistance compared to my first program. I experienced greater restlessness in my body outside the program time, especially during periods of difficult concentration at work.
This time, while performing the exercises, I was able to feel my body significantly better than in the first program. I understand that simply doing the exercises will not eliminate the root causes of my problems, but that through movement differentiation, my awareness of specific bodily states will increase.
I still struggle to identify and name my feelings and feel confused about what I truly feel. Counting through emotions therefore seems very helpful to me, even though I initially realized I have difficulty differentiating in the expression of aggressive emotions.
The explanations in the program have helped me become more aware of the importance and influence of my relationship with my parents on both my past and current state. I better understand my subconscious patterns that are keeping me in this state.
I now have a clearer sense of which relationships I need to change, but I also recognize the importance of making gradual changes to avoid excessive resistance from my body or surroundings.
