Your teacher

Aleš Ernst, author of the AEQ Method

I work daily with clients who turn to me mainly because of chronic muscular pain. I teach them different perspectives on the causes of pain and constraints that they feel every day. They will eliminate pain and improve movement and poor posture with better understanding and exercises, if exercises are performed regularly, of course. My clients are also professional athletes, coaches, and recreational athletes who want to keep up with the success they have achieved with hard work. AEQ Method enables you to successfully overcome stress and pain by increasing the effectiveness and control of the movement, thus improving results, restoring motivation, and redefining goals and ambitions, all without pain. AEQ Method teaches us to control our bodies better, as well as the mind, and to increase control and complexity of movements and work. I am the author of the book » Out of chronic pain with ease«. I witness daily significant positive changes that the AEQ Method brings into the lives of my clients and their results.

About the seminar

Seminar Level 2 is a continuation of seminar Level 1. In Level 1, I’ve given you the basic knowledge on breathing, how to breathe properly and how important it is to breathe properly, and how it affects your life. In Level 2, I will add an in-depth understanding of the connection between breathing and life force energy, movement, behavior and emotional functioning.

The biggest emphasis will be placed on understanding proper breathing and its relevance to life force energy levels and the impact of sensory-motor amnesia on reduced breathing efficiency, in order to achieve emotional efficiency and maturity suitable for client’s behavior, environment and relationships.

The seminar will increase your ability to understand why someone has lost the ability to breathe properly and efficiently during a certain life period and why their breathing is not a reflection of their actual inner state and their surroundings in the present time. The teaching will be focused on the importance of CO2 levels in the blood – tied to a state of relaxation or an allergy to relaxation which occurs when someone spends longer periods of time in an environment that creates chronically activated sympathetic responses in the autonomic nervous system – someone like this feels resistance toward learning proper breathing and increasing their tolerance to CO2 rise in the blood which paradoxically leads them into greater anxiety and tension.

An integral part of the seminar will be an in-depth study of the function of inhalation, exhalation and respiratory interruptions, and how they influence our ability to prepare for an action and the ability to receive reactions to our actions. The unique breathing modules that you will get to know – and learn about their correct use and execution – will enable you to learn what is someone like in a certain behavior state and how by suppressing their breathing and movement they reduce the likelihood of actions that would trigger an overpowering response of the environment that they wouldn’t be able to deal with. Understanding these connections and processes in the body and the nervous system will give the Teacher Level 2 a broader understanding of what is happening in the client’s system, and the ability to offer an appropriate explanation and a deeper understanding of the processes and the exercises – this will enable the client to learn, and to change whatever is necessary to regulate their breathing and life.

Learning Breathing Level 2 involves learning the differences in the importance and impact of performing breathing exercises and breathing modules in a sitting or a standing position. It is very important to give a proper explanation of the experience when trying to increase proper breathing and to reduce the fear of effective breathing – the experience that is created when changing somatic positions during the execution of the exercises or modules.

It is highly recommended to participate in the online AEQ breathing programs before you participate in the seminar, as this will enable you to follow the teachings with a wider awareness and understanding, and also experience the daily integration of suppressed emotions and the influence of SMA on breathing in practice. This will allow you to guide your clients with full integrity through the journey, into more efficient breathing and greater relaxation without the fear of breaking the membrane’s armor.

AEQ breathing Level 2 will increase the advantages of the effectiveness of learning that an AEQ teacher of breathing has over other methods and approaches for breathing improvement – we can see more and more on the market but they all ignore the existence of SMA in the user’s system and cannot explain the resistance toward positive changes that the methods themselves create, which means they do not really offer long-term and holistic changes to the user.

The knowledge and the insights gained from seminar Level 2 enable an understanding of the real reasons for sports activity and the associated problems of both recreational and professional athletes, and of the paradoxically strongly incorrect breathing of those who need effective breathing the most.

With this knowledge, you will be able to enroll in the seminar Teacher of AEQ breathing Level 3, which will focus primarily on learning and understanding breathing for improving the physical and the psychological skills needed for above-average results – in sport, work and other areas of human activity – in which the individual desires to achieve a higher potential from the one that was placed in his cradle.

Before I decided to take the AEQ training, I met with AEQ exercises through a colleague who had done the AEQ seminar Level 1. I became fond of the AEQ method and AEQ exercises, which led me to realize how am I and what is going on around…

In the first two weeks of participating in the AEQ program, I felt a strong resistance in my subconscious while performing exercises. It appeared in a constant hunger for air (yawning) and extreme fatigue, making it difficult to remain focused and pay attention to your explanations. When performing respiratory exercises, I had restless legs and sometimes even hands, which once again resulted in a lack of attention. However, this unrest completely disappeared after the programs conclusion.

We may begin to mention this pattern, complain about it, or recognize it in other people. Somehow it floats to the surface of our attention, and we begin to establish a relationship with it. We often attract a teacher, friend…

It has been a year in March since I first visited Aleš. Before AEQ exercises my leg pain was unbearable. I had the most issues with my left hip. Sometimes the pain was so severe that I couldn’t make a step with my foot. After having an operation on my left hip my condition didn’t change, there were moments where it got even worse. My orthopedist suggested to block the pain in my left hip and operate the right hip. I am glad that I met with psycho-somatics at that time and decided to not have the operation.

I feel that participating in your breathing program has helped me take one step closer toward myself. Even though I am used to not listening to my body I am now more aware of how deeply my face muscles, neck muscles, back muscles and shoulder muscles are contracted. I am aware of how much burden I have been carrying on my shoulders. Slowly but surely my awareness is changing. I love doing the exercises because they need to be done slowly with focusing on the body. It took me a long time to learn how to sense which muscles are shortening and which one are lengthening.
