GUIDELINES FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE AEQ METHOD

The essential elements as I understood the explanations while doing the AEQ exercises in September and November 2021, general exercises and lower body exercises:

  1. The AEQ exercises themselves do not eliminate chronic conditions.
  2. AEQ exercises reduce sensory-motor amnesia, which means that our sense of the body improves – muscle contraction, relaxed muscles, pain. Improving motor amnesia means improving control over movement in exercises.
  3. When eliminating chronic conditions, for example, sciatica, back pain, etc. it is important to eliminate the cause for it first.
  4. Causes for chronic conditions are improper functioning and improper relationships.
  5. Improper functioning and improper relationships mean breaking the law of time and law of gravity.
  6. Breaking the law of time means that we are doing something too slow, too fast or at the wrong time.
  7. All other irregular and thus suboptimal functioning belongs to the set of the law of gravity.
  8. The following is important when performing AEQ exercises:
  • That they are performed slowly, consciously and focused only on the exercise, nothing else.
  • The slowness of the exercise is important so that we use correct movements to change our subconscious or the part of it that causes us chronic conditions.
  • If they are performed quickly, the subconscious takes control (or a combination of the conscious and subconscious) over movement, making it impossible to change.
  • Our subconscious has to be changed slowly and not quickly.
  • So that we are paying attention to signals that we receive from the body.
  • So that we are paying attention towards performing the movement the way we envisioned it.
  • So that we don’t overdo it when performing the exercises, we go to the point of pain and not beyond.
  • So that we don’t perform exercises routinely, but instead change them, maintaining maximum focus on the exercise.
  1. AEQ exercises improve our ability to detect whether we’re doing something incorrectly and make it easier to figure it out.
  2. Greater pain, psychological changes and additional problems in relationships may occur during a certain phase of AEQ exercises.
  3. For complete elimination of chronic conditions we must change the way we perform in real life, and AEQ exercises help us achieve this by making it easier to find and change the things that hider us. Changes shouldn’t be too fast, because our subconscious will react too severely. In case of rapid changes, we can also expect severe problems from our surroundings.
  4. When bringing in change, we will become far more efficient if we use our imagination.
  5. The law of time also includes a sleeping regime, which generally applies to everyone, or on average, you need to sleep 8 hours a day as a rule, 6 hours is not enough.
  6. Everyone has to find out for themselves what the causes of chronic conditions are and then eliminate them themselves. You can also seek external help, but your own action is essential.
