The 30-day program left a big impression on me. It’s a whole different feeling when a teacher guides your through the exercises. The program instills a routine in you, so that you may perform exercises by yourself later. I did researched plenty of methods, but something was still missing.
When I first stumbled upon the AEQ method, I knew this was exactly what I’ve been looking for. Something that my body has been looking for. I learned how tense I am, how I continually contract my muscles when not needed, that there is a well of anger, sadness and fear hidden within me and it’s affecting my behavior and movement.
The AEQ method helped me get to know my body, the way it functions and its needs. How the body is the first thing that tells me what I’m keeping hidden inside myself, in the depths, things that I no longer need. And now, with the help of the AEQ exercises, I can change my behavior.
It is a process and a path that I am grateful for taking. I am grateful to you, Aleš, for making these programs available and for helping us. And to be able to say that I am grateful to my body that it endured so much because I didn’t know how to appreciate it. But I’m happy that it’s different now.
